Fear - The Biggest Obstacle Faced By Developing Evidential Mediums

Developing Evidential Mediums most certainly face the fear of being incorrect or completely off base when it comes to providing information received from a Soul Communicator during a reading.  They can also face the fear of being judged or considered a fraud by their Sitter/Recipient if the information conveyed is not correct. This is where the "No" response from a Sitter/Recipient in an Evidential Mediumship reading can come into play and can create a sense of fear.

In the distant past when I would be in the midst of a reading and get a "No" response from my Sitter/Recipient with regard to information/evidence I was relaying, it used to bring a sense of panic and confusion and would knock me off of my flow in blending with the Spirit World.  I would feel as though I was thrown off center and have to regroup and settle back into communication mode, which often took a while.  Now, I see the dreaded "No" as an acronym for "New Opportunity."  It causes me to back up to the last "Yes" I received from my Sitter/Recipient and begin again from that point, internally asking the Soul Communicator to clarify the information that created the "Yes" and work forward from there, creating a "New Opportunity" for more solid evidence to arise.  I liken this process to starting at the tip of an iceberg and chipping away until I can get to the layers beneath.  If during the outset of a reading, you haven't received a "Yes" response yet, spend a moment taking in a few deep breaths and internally asking the Spirit World to assist you with more information in identifying your Soul Communicator.  Once you receive your first "Yes" you can move forward from there.  The whole point of returning to your first "Yes" is an internal reminder that trains us to not just give up.  Practicing with other developing Evidential Mediums is an excellent way to hone this practice of creating New Opportunities from the dreaded "No" in a supportive and compassionate environment.

This leads into how our lack of trust or limited belief in our own abilities can hinder or block the information being shared by the Spirit World.  This lack of trust and/or belief in ourselves can temporarily paralyze us and prevent us from fully embracing our gifts, and can create a lack of trust in the information provided from our Inspirers in the Spirit World (commonly known as Spirit Guides).   As an Evidential Medium, you are a part of a Spirit Team which consists of you here on the Earth plane as well as your Inspirers in the Spirit World that work together to create the beautiful circle of communication between the Soul Communicator, the Sitter/Recipient and the Medium.  This is a relationship that grows stronger over time and with dedicated practice.
