The word Clairvoyant is French and translates as Clair (Clear) Voyant (Seeing).
Images can come through the mind of a Clairvoyant, which enables them to see images, often in great detail. These images can present as what I like to refer to as "Mini-Movies" or images that play on a TV screen. When I have these experiences during a reading, I often explain this to my clients as seeing these images in "My Mind's Eye," and then translating these images into solid pieces of evidence regarding a loved one who has passed. For me, the trick to accurate translation of the images I receive requires me to open my mind to all possibilities that an image can represent while deeply feeling into the energy of the image, which is where Clairsentience comes in.
In my experience, Clairvoyance is a beautiful added bonus of Clairsentience. Let me explain:
The word Clairsentient is French and translates as Clair (Clear) Sentient (Feeling).
Feelings and sensations can come into the mind and/or body of a Clairsentient, which can create impressions upon their mind and/or body and provide a plethora of information. This includes images, words/sentences that are understood by the mind but not heard by the ear. It can also include physical sensations of varying degrees, such as heat, cold, pain, tingling, etc. An example of Clairsentience during a Mediumistic Reading can include feeling or experiencing the personality or traits of a passed loved one this being able to provide this information to my client. Clairsentience can also cause physical sensations in the body which, for me, often tells of what type of illness or condition caused a loved one to pass. Images can also be impressed upon a Clairsentient's mind, which are accompanied by strong feelings of how they should be translated. This is why I believe Clairvoyance is a beautiful part of Clairsentience.
These are just several of the Spirit World's amazing ways of communicating, and they are different for every practicing Medium. In future posts, I will cover in some depth the meaning behind the other "Clairs," which are Claircognizance, Clairaudience, Clairgustance and Clairsalience.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this post. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments and have a blessed day!
